3/1-3/5

Welcome to our weekly series spotlighting events we recommend here in San Francisco.

3/1 - Housepitality - Vera, Lily Ackerman, Birds of Rhythm - F8

Housepitality is a longtime favorite and this week is no exception. Their support of local artists paired with world-class talent, along with the reasonable cost and free champagne before 10pm makes this a regular stop for passionate music fans and industry professionals alike. This week it boasts a strong lineup: Berlin-based Perlon's Vera, Diacritic Collective's vinyl spinning talent Lily Ackerman, and Birds of Rhythm.

3/3 As You Like It - Cassy, Midland, Jane Fitz, Jackie House - the Midway

As You Like It has a reputation for being real tastemakers, and big bookings with stacked talent are becoming a serious habit for the crew. This week is no exception, where you should absolutely make time to see the openers; Honey Soundsystem's Jackie House and Bicep fave Jane Fitz. Legendary former-Space-resident, current-DC10-resident Cassy is on deck too, with Midland (winner of 2016's BBC Essential Mix of the Year) rounding out what is sure to be an excellent night at an ideal venue.

3/4 Eats Everything & Lauren Lane - Halcyon

This week San Francisco also sees an Edible Label showcase from boss Eats Everything. Paired up with Lauren Lane, a longtime favorite known for her excellent track selection and quickly making her way up the charts with a number of her own solo productions, this is one you'll want to show up early and stay late for.

3/4 - Marie Davidson/Takaaki Itoh - 60 6th St

Another option for your Saturday night is Cititrax' Marie Davidson. The Montreal-based artist has been brought by Sure Thing (and remains one of our favorite promoters; unafraid to bring in talent yet to be discovered or appreciated stateside). Davidson has had several well-received sets in Berlin and Rotterdam, culminating in bookings at both Sonar and Dekmantel. The night is rounded out with Takaaki Itoh making this a not-to-be-missed evening to celebrate Sure Thing's 2nd anniversary.
